Our love of horses has been ingrained for generations. Janice's grandfather, Mart Bussell, was known throughout the East Texas Piney Woods as a horseman of some repute. We strive to carry on his reputation today. Blending techniques learned from the Choctaw Indians with todays more modern training techniques, we feel we are able to offer the best of the old world and the new.

We plan activities around our boarders and students so that they may learn from and with their horse. Whether you are showing or just going down the trail, we believe that horses make a difference in your life, and most assuredly in the life of your kids. We welcome visitors at any time. All of our horses at 4M Performance Horses are cared for by Angela Chenault, DVM of LaPaloma Equine in Waller, Texas. We have used Dr. Chenault for a number of years and have always been pleased with the outstanding care our horses ( and sometimes, their distraught owners) have received. We have come to rely on her knowledge and expertise and value her immeasurably, both professionally and personally.
